We have a policy about outsourcing our development work, its quite a simple policy really;
we don't outsource any work abroad. Not in the past, not now, not in the future.

As far as we are concerned our work as a company should reflect our creativity and skills.
We liase with you the customer and get a feel for what you want, then we code it accordingly, communicating with you at every step of the process.

Should we be in a position that we are overworked we will advise you so, or on occasion we my enlist the help of a local programmer. We know plenty of local reliable British programmers whom we can call upon should the need arise.

Q. 'Is the logo we are using in some way official?'
A. No the logo is not official, not in any way! It just gives our position and policy on this subject.

Q. 'Can I use the logo on my website?'
A. Feel free, however please make a copy on your site.

Q. 'Do I need to credit Infolink for the idea or graphic in any way?'
A. If you want to you can link the graphic back to this page to explain what its about.
We always appreciate incoming links to our site.

Q. 'Is this some sort of anti-outsourcing campaign?'
A. Not specifically, but if you wanted it to be then it could be. When it was initially mentioned on a web forum the graphics were downloaded more times than we expected.

Q. 'Where did the idea come from?'
A. Just one of those things designed on the back of a beermat really. We don't like seeing any jobs going overseas that can be done quite adequately here.

Q. 'Isn't oursourcing good because it saves the customer money?'
A. The same customer could save more money by driving a twenty year old Lada instead of a BMW.

Q. 'Do you have seperate logos available for Scotland, Wales, England, IOM etc.'
A. Sorry we don't, feel free to actually make one yourself though.

A. All we are doing is saying that on the rare occasion we need an extra pair of hands we prefer to use local programmers here in the UK. If you feel that patriotism is bad then go elsewhere!
